VCM is a music education foundation that works to inspire people through music. The foundation is one of the leading vocal music education charities in the world, and is responsible for an innovative and wide reaching education programme. VCM supports three different strands of work: VOCES8, Apollo5 and the Gresham Centre.
VCM has developed ‘The VOCES8 Method’, a new resource for teachers which links music with numeracy, literacy and linguistics, and has been translated into German and French.
The innovative education programme, led by VOCES8 and Apollo5, reaches 25,000 young people annually, working in schools in the UK, Belgium, France, Sweden, Germany, the USA and Asia.
The VCM Foundation has its home at the Gresham Centre, in a beautiful Wren Church in the heart of the City of London. In partnership with the Diocese of London, the VCM Foundation is establishing this venue as an international hub for excellence in education, outreach, inspiration and the performance of vocal music.
